About us : People
I have been a police officer for over 28 years, and the majority of this has been performed within Liverpool. I have a wide policing experience performing roles as foot patrol officer/ response driver / CID / Community Safety Officer. My present role is with the Liverpool Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership’ ‘Citysafe’ For the past twelve year I have been actively involved in community capacity building, and I also hold a number of positions within local charities and organisation with a view to increasing community safety and reassurance. I am a Home Office trained Architectural Liaison Officer and Crime Reduction Officer. I have a wide background working on major projects and project management and also obtaining external funding from a variety of sources to support community safety, examples of this are the Citysafe CCTV System and also the Citysafe Streetcrime Wardens. I am married to Lesley, and have three daughters (two who have / are studied at Liverpool University) Interests are cycling, walking. travelling and the outdoors.  |
